Wow, it has been a long 2 weeks. Lots of unexpected mishaps and journeys have occurred that could very well have altered my new found desire to be a #fitceos. If you’ve been following our blog or Facebook Fan Page or Twitter you know that I have been working out at the local Curves 4 to 5 times a week. I am trying to keep my mind, body and business fit. This week I ran 2.5 miles for the first time in 20 years. It was not easy though but I do intend to keep it up. I would really like one of those fancy watches that also has a pedometer and heart rate monitor but I don’t really need it. I did though add the Cardio Trainer App to my cell phone so that I could easily keep track of my workouts and progress. This app also uses GPS technology from my cell phone (which is totally cool) to calculate speed, distance, mileage and calories from a run or walk. I linked it to my personal facebook page today so maybe you will see my updates and progress as it comes.
I guess what I am trying to say is that when life gets in the way you need to just keep pushing through and do the best you can. In that last 2 weeks our car needed major repair, our old beat up couch broke, then our furnace broke down twice, while all of this cost us plenty financially I felt emotionally strong. Which I believe is directly connected to my workouts. Now I can honestly say that working on being physically fit spills over into other aspects of your life.
